Prelude on the Sea
A restless man (portrayed by a mouse) sets out on a journey without a map. He doesn’t know what he’s searching for… until an unexpected friendship helps him discover life’s greatest treasure.
“Prelude on the Sea” has no actors, but instead combines live-action hand puppetry with landscape footage from Istria. Using classic optical compositing techniques, it creates a unique and handcrafted atmosphere – entirely without AI or CGI.
The film runs for about 55 minutes and is available in English with subtitles in German (or Croatian, Chinese, Spanish).
